Supernatural Relationships

GEB SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

September 4, 2023

The Holy Spirit is calling to us - His voice is echoed throughout Canada causing us to believe and pray with expectancy.

Our entry into September challenges us to not journey passively but to walk earnestly knowing that God will hear our petitions and answer according to the commitment of His Covenant promises.

As your GEB, we affirm our commitment to seek empowerment of the Holy Spirit, to equip us to invade the impossible. Our hearts cry is to bring Heaven’s power to every area of our nation, and to seize from the enemy what belongs to God and His people.

As Christians, we are guided on our journey by the Holy Spirit as He teaches, guides, gives and brings forth much fruit.

We rejoice that Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew3:11). The Church that Jesus is building directs us to seek the fire and embrace God’s presence and manifestations.

Ahead of us are great days and so we must stay encouraged, anointed, and engaged in warfare with the power of supernatural deliverance. Yes, Jesus commands His disciples to receive the “Promise of the Father,” so that He might replicate His life in each of us by this means.

As we understand the heart of Jesus, we realize what’s at stake in having the Helper, Comforter pouring His power and wisdom in multiple giftings. Our POWER SOURCE for all we need to do is the Holy Spirit, so stay in tune with God and His Promises of His Word!

As GEB members we assure you that we are consistently in prayer for the leaders and members of every PHCC congregation.

On September 15 – 16 -17 we will be visiting the Maritime provinces and have scheduled intercession times as part of out three-day fellowship gatherings. We assure you that we intentionally scheduled our meeting times to what aligns with our God-given calling and passions.

Proverbs 4:23 says, “guard and keep your heart with all diligence.” This requires pro-acting because life starts in the heart. What motivates the daily course of our lives is not merely the decisions we make, big or small, it is what lies beneath those decisions.

And so, as sons and daughters of God, we are led by the Holy Spirit.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:14-16).

We always need God’s inspired strategy! We remind us all that during this coming Autumn season we must always “discern the times” so that we connect with God’s mission directive “to seek first the Kingdom of God.” And when we do we will discover the “walk of the ministry” in which we individually and collectively are called to be active.

Remember, the Church’s first task in the earth is to bring God’s will to pass.

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him” (1 John 5:14-15).

Yes, we must bring God’s will to pass on earth, by flowing in unity, and praying in the authority that Jesus has given us.

Before He ascended, Jesus said, “All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18). But it’s up to the Church to enforce Jesus’ power through faithful prayer. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us that we now have authority to confidently pray God’s will to come to pass in the earth.

As Church leadership we have a journey - a destination; we have God inspired goals, purposes, and visions. Knowing where we are going encourages us that we are advancing forward with specific meaningful, compelling, achievable momentum!

And together from sea to sea we function in consistent unity. In the coming months we will be visiting various areas in each district of our nation and hold special prayer times. In the meantime, we pray heaven’s blessing on you and your congregation.

Revivalist, D. L. Moody once made this statement, “The world has yet to see what God can do through a man who is fully dedicated to Him!” Rev. Moody became a great revivalist!
