PHCC’s 3 Pillars: Planting Churches, Support for Clergy & Bible School
Planting Churches
The momentum began in Ottawa! Continue to pray with us for three potential church plants throughout Ottawa, Quebec and Toronto! Bishop has been talking to various pastors about about planting churches in PEI and Newfoundland, as we don’t yet have a presence in those provinces.
Support for Clergy
Everything we do revolves around our three pillars. Our clergy cares for their flock and we want to care for you. HGMC is one way we’re doing that, this year. We are also working on various insurance and pension plan options, as well as a ministerial credential program. Great things are yet to come!
Bible School
Our School of Ministry is operating and running. We already have a registered student and we have other candidates applying. If you’ve been praying about seminary, enrolment for the School of Ministry is now open. You can email dana.boto@phccministries.ca for an application or for more information.
HGM Churches. Healthy. Growing. Multiplying.
Rejoice with us! Our first HGMC Conference took place in our beautiful country’s capital, Ottawa. It was a blessed weekend of fellowship and growth. Our hope for these conferences is to encourage pastors and equip you with various resources to build growing and healthy churches! We invite you to attend for free, as our investment in you, your life and your church.
Conference Dates:
Feb 22-24: Ottawa
April 5-7: Halifax
May 30-June 1: Toronto
July 25-28: Calgary
Sept 26-28: Vancouver
Maritime Conference
Here in the Maritime, we welcome the encouraging Word of the Holy Spirit as we progress in our 2024 journey of transformational faith! We believe God’s Word of Promise, to do more things in our midst, to open new doors of opportunity.
Pastor Jerry Kendrick Maritime Superintendent
Ontario Conference
Toronto had its first Pastors’ Breakfast at Grace Tabernacle in February. We are excited to see what God has in store for Toronto and the GTA as we grow and welcome new ministers to the denomination. The Bishop is also working to bring together the youth leaders and launch a prayer corner.
OTTAWA & QUEBEC
The Bishop’s office is working on having the denomination recognized by the Directeur de l’état in Quebec. We are also looking forward to many churches planting and growing in Ottawa as well. The Lord is moving Canada-wide, in both English and French and many other tongues!
“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” Revelation 7:9 (NKJV)
In Memory Of Rev. Marshall Caldwell
1952-2024
Marshall, a man who served multiple churches in our Maritime District, went to his heavenly reward on January 25, 2024. Marshall spent his entire life sharing God’s word and bringing people into the kingdom. He served as a counsellor, assistant and lead pastor, Maritime Superintendent and served on multiple general boards and committees for the PHCC. We are pleased to report that the man who filled the pulpit while Marshall was absent was appointed as the new pastor; and the congregation has warmly welcomed Pastor Ken MacDonald and his family to continue to advance Crescent Valley Gospel Centre as a family-oriented, Christ centred church.
