THESE MOMENTS IN TIME MATTER!

Dear Pastors and Congregational Leaders:

Do you know what hour this is?

Today, we are sending you the first in a series of updating letters regarding recent GEB meetings held in Toronto.

Your GEB met at Grace Tabernacle Church, and we were blessed with two days of awakening that gave us Holy Spirit direction and empowerment to proceed into the next months of advancement for the Pentecostal Holiness Church across Canada.

In the days to come Bishop Rick and Bishop Tom will be sending out to our churches summer refreshing information that will replenish our vineyard ministries with inspirational “new wine” thoughts that will lead us in fresh dimensions.

Your GEB meeting sessions showed us that we have to grow and embrace change in response to God’s directive words to us and that we have to move forward as a team.

“Our delight is to do Your will, O Lord, and Your law is written on our hearts” (Ps. 40:8)

Yes, we are better together in partnership, moving forward to victory, keeping connected to our inspirational sources, looking towards our tomorrows! Rejoicing... experiencing living hope!

With eyes of faith, keepers of the vision, our key is being faithful to what God has called us to be and do, being led by the Holy Spirit.

WE MUST KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS.
THESE MOMENTS IN TIME MATTER!
IT IS TIME TO SEEK GOD,
AND TO PRAY WITH PASSION!

“For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with tender grapes give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one and come away!” (Song of Solomon 2:11,12)

These are abiding moments.  In John 15:1-17 Jesus explained how we are called to abide in Him.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5)

Abiding is responding to the invitation to come seeking for a deeper understanding and more actively and exuberantly embracing the life and ministry of Jesus in which we participate.

During our recent GEB Toronto sessions the Lord pressed a word into our hearts. We believe that this summer we represent God’s vineyard. In Isaiah 5 the people are portrayed as God’s vineyard.

We belong to God’s Church, so we are His vineyard.  Each individual Christian is a believer, a branch on the vine of Jesus (John 15:1-8); and Jesus showed us that we are to bear much fruit and that this is a sign of true discipleship.

In future GEB newsletters we will share more on the key vineyard subject and living faithfully with the blessings of new wine.

Scripture shows us that great victories are won at specific moments where and when God’s callings are lived out. Over and over again, bold initiatives are lived out by courageous believers, interacting with God.

Your GEB believes that these are our moments in time, and so we say, “HELLO” to SUMMER.  We are proclaiming that we should not wait any longer! Let’s move forward now from May to the end of summer!  Yes, a new season, a new hope is approaching!

MOVING FORWARD with EXPECTANCY
TOGETHER IN PARTNERSHIP MAXIMZING GOD’S CALLING!

Your GEB Is excited about the wide array of various family activities you can present this summer, and in the days to come we will forward more encouraging thoughts.

We also would appreciate your church sending us successful project ideas your church is using this summer. We are looking for bold initiatives that would help knit us all together. Let us build together and explore the summertime ideas that best connect our family congregations.

Over and over, we are exhorted by God’s Word to stand strong. The enemy will be defeated as we continue to pray and pray fearlessly. Each day is full of divine appointments to partnership in intercession.

We must exalt the Father, worship the Son, with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

We mentioned earlier that we will be sending you inspirational material to help launch the next summer months. You will receive a variety of specific suggestions that we can all use to advance Summertime for inspirational, spiritual events.

Plus, there are the regular events that normally come up on your calendars, like... Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Pentecost Sunday, your church summer activities, children’s summer camps, adult bible conferences, etc. These are all part of the regular seasonal activities and help each church stage congregational growth.

We as the Christians must move forward as a team – loving people, helping them grow in faith and obedience to God!

Thank you for moving forward with faith!
